ABOUT THE ROLE
The focus of this role is to oversee the day-to-day operations of our support work programs. As a leader at Support Studio, you will work alongside our support work teams, to ensure the provision of high quality supports, to people living with mental health and disability.
This involves the provision of supervision, training, and secondary consultation to all team members. This position also plays an integral role in overseeing the delivery of services to participants, ensuring that a high standard of support is provided at all times. Our Lead Support Workers also play a critical role in cultivating a positive workplace culture.

KEY SELECTION CRITERIA
Essential:
Qualifications in mental health, disability, community services or a relevant qualification.
Current Driver’s License and appropriate car insurance.
Working with Children’s Check (Employee).
Rights to work in Australia.
Current First Aid Certificate (including CPR).
NDIS Worker Screening Check.
Supporting people to stay infection free certificate.
Satisfactory completion of:
New Worker NDIS Induction Module.
NDIS Worker Orientation Module.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Desirable:
Experience leading diverse teams of people.
Experience providing secondary consultation, supervision, debriefing, and reflective practice to staff.
Experience conducting risk assessments and providing direction to staff in a crisis.
Experience leading teams working with people living with mental health and or disability.
A good understanding of the NDIS and existing relationships with key stake holders working across our operating areas.
Knowledge of the Disability Act 2006 and other relevant legislation, policies, and guidelines.
High level administrative skills.
CONDITIONS
This role is a 12 month, full time, fixed term contract. This position is classified as a Social & Community Services Employee Level 3, at an above award rate of $40.26 an hour.

ABOUT THE ROLE
The purpose of this role is to provide administrative support across the organisation, helping to ensure the provision of high quality supports, to people living with mental health and disability. This will involve playing a key role and supporting the operations of our human resources, accounting systems, marketing activities, stakeholder engagement, payroll, phone systems, and rostering.

CONDITIONS
The Administration Officer role is a 12 month, full time, fixed term contract. This is a work from home opportunity, supporting our teams in various locations of Australia.

ABOUT THE ROLE
This position is a Core Behaviour Support Practitioner role, having met, or working towards meeting all Core practitioner level capabilities. Ongoing professional development and supervision from a proficient level behaviour support practitioner or above, is provided.
Our Behaviour Support program uses individualised strategies for people with a disability, reducing the potential for behaviour that puts a person and those around them at risk. As a member of our Behaviour Support Team, you will work alongside people with disability and their supports, to develop a Behaviour Support Plan, which includes evidenced-based strategies, skill development, and training for the person and their support network.

ESSENTIAL:
A degree in Behaviour Support, Psychology, Social Work, Allied Health or other relevant Tertiary Qualification.
Driver’s license, National Police
Check, Working with Children’s
Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check.
Rights to work in Australia.
DESIRABLE:
Current suitability - confirmed by the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission - at the Core level as a Behaviour Support Practitioner.
Knowledge of behaviour support principles, including functional behaviour assessments, behaviour support plans, and restrictive practices.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to form relationships with key stakeholders - team members, other professionals, participants, and their families.
Excellent time management and organisational skills to manage a varied caseload.
An understanding of trauma-informed practice principles.
An understanding of the National Disability Insurance Scheme - including knowledge of policy and legislation related to behaviour support and restrictive practices.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including report writing experience.
A passion for supporting participants to achieve their goals and improve their quality of life.
Experience working with individuals, families, and children with disabilities.
CONDITIONS
This role is a permanent position. The position is classified as a Social & Community Services Employee Level 3 at a commencement salary of $90,00 pa plus weekly bonus structure .
